I have been working in Croatia for the last four years however it was only last year, when I discovered Molunat, that I decided I wanted to base myself here.
My passion and purpose in life is health and wellbeing, and I have been in this field of work for over 25 years, teaching, studying and working internationally, whilst also managing my own wellness business in Devon.
I now run yoga classes and retreats in Molunat and teach online classes and courses via Zoom for people from all over the world. Molunat is perfect for what I do because my philosophy is that ‘the closer to nature you are, the healthier you are’ and you can’t get much closer to nature that this.
Molunat is where I came to ’rest my soul by the sea’ and now I am on a mission to help others do the same in this magical place.
Born in South Africa to a Croatian father who after some time decided to move us back to his homeland in 2002 with my mother, a South African of Indian heritage.
Being of young age at the time, it wasn't so hard to get used to local culture and lifestyle, as well as learn the language and integrate with the locals, who were mostly friendly, warm and welcoming to us. I attended the remainder of my school in Dubrovnik, after which I enrolled into a Business computing course at the Dubrovnik University.
A few years ago, I met James, with whom I had worked on some other projects, we started getting along good and he told me about Gillie and the Love Molunat project, which I had found very interesting. I decided to be part of Love Molunat because it gives me a chance to contribute to the Konavle region in a positive manner and test my skills as a web developer, since programming in general is my dream career choice.
I have experience in more than just programming, so I figured better put myself to use in the best way possible.
